A perfect display example limited edition 4-6-2 Duchess Class “City of Nottingham” running number 46251 in BR Black Livery! The locomotive was introduced by Wrenn between 1990-92 (Period Four) only, as another of their exclusive series, model reference W2414.
This example is one of only 182 reported to have been made, although Wrenn were due to make 250 in total. This locomotive was produced with larger driving wheels. In such super condition this locomotive is becoming ever harder to find as collectors search for a limited number available! Underneath is clearly stamped P2/ 901043 denoting build date October 1990.
The locomotive is complete in every respect and includes original box, packaging, with track and plinth. Also included certificate, instruction manual and usual holding rings and tissue! We challenge anyone to find better!
