A very rare find, an old shop stock limited edition 4-6-2 Duchess Class Locomotive. This Princess Alice LMS engine is one of a number of stored locomotives on offer for the very 1st time. This locomotive was introduced by Wrenn between 1987-88 model reference W2402.

This example is one of only 345 ever made and was produced with a MK2 Chassis and three pole motor. The locomotive is complete in every respect and includes original box, packaging, track and plaque. Also numbered certificate instruction manual and usual holding rings and tissue!

Duchess locomotive used by London Midland & Scottish Railways was a class of express passenger steam locomotives designed by William Stanier. The locomotive got its name as a result of being a non-streamlined, although to engine-men they were often known as Big Lizzies.

TO RETAIN ITS VALUE AS A COLLECTORS PIECE, WE BELIEVE PARAMOUNT, THE ENGINE IS OFFERED AS FOUND!
