A much desired Wrenn 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific Locomotive. This example is the “Lamport & Holt Line” running number 35026 in British Rail Blue! This locomotive was introduced by Wrenn between 1982-85 model reference W2267 (cat. Error W3000). This version is one of only 850 made. The build date of this model is 04517 referring to May 1984!

The locomotive is complete in every respect. Its overall condition is superb. We have deemed this example to be excellent due to the fact there is the slightest blemish to the tender on one side. All said does not detract from the overall quality. Also included is its original inner box and PERIOD 6 G & R Wrenn lid, the instruction manual and usual holding rings and tissue!

The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific's or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid. They were amongst the first British designs to use welding in the construction process, and steel fireboxes. This meant that components could be more easily constructed under wartime austerity & post-war economy!
