Offering a late P4 Wrenn display engine. This model reference W2224A is of the Standard 8F Class locomotive in BR Black, running number 48290, one of only 450 reported to have been made.

This locomotive model is one of the few which span all four periods of production Wrenn Railways undertook at Basildon Essex. This loco was produced between 1983-92. Alternative examples were made during other periods.

As all model railway enthusiast know, this is the “WORKHORSE” for freight operations on any layout. Hence why they are very seldom found NOT play worn and even rarer boxed.

The locomotive is complete with original box date stamped P3 81249 build date December 1988 includes Wrenn usual holding rings, tissue and manual.
