Wrenn Presflo “Blue Circle” 20T Bulk Loaded Cement Wagon Rolling Stock W5072

Offering for sale a perfect example of a Wrenn “Blue Circle Cement” Bulk Loaded 4 Wheeled 20T Wagon, Wrenn model reference number W5072. This grey model was introduced by Wrenn in 1982 and production continued until 1989.

There were a number of alternative colour wagons produced throughout the other periods whilst at Basildon. The wagon is finished with a contrasting yellow and blue logo and no running number. The item is complete with original PERIOD FOUR box, inner yellow sleeve and packaging.

This wagon is commonly refereed to as a”PRESFLO WAGON” They were specifically built for the transportation of cement. These wagons were developed in the mid/late 20th Century and were a common place on our railways.One of the main builders of this unit was Gloucester Railway and Carriage Co.
