Wrenn Standard Fireworks Gunpowder Van no. B887002 reference W4313

Offering for sale a super example of a “Standard Fireworks” 11T Gunpowder Van running no. B887002. This 11T 4 Wheeled Gunpowder Van, Wrenn model reference number W4313 was introduced by Wrenn in 1968 and production continued for a very short period.

There were tree different colour variations made. This example of the Standard Fireworks wagon is finished in dark green and a grey contrasting roof, red piped lettering and logo, running numbers in white. The item was produced in late PERIOD ONE ONLY!!Offered complete with original box, inner yellow sleeve and packaging.

Despite their name, the gunpowder van with a cone top was a ventilated van variant. The difference was its construction which was made from steel to withstand possible explosions and damage to its contents. The gunpowder van was produced at Swindon Works in the UK with a wheel base of 9′ 0″. These wagons were constructed mainly during the early 1930’s.
