Bachmann Class 40 Diesel D211 MAURITANIA DCC SOUND 32-480DS

A brand new 00 gauge example especially developed by “Bachmann Branchline Model Railways” as part of their “latest DCC Sound series. This Digital Sound Class 40 Diesel locomotive running number D211 is being offered in BR Green livery and is named MAURITANIA livery model reference 32-480DS 

The locomotive is complete in every respect and comes with all usual refinements to include, service sheet and complete sealed accessory packs.

The British Railways Class 40 (English Electric), is an eight axle diesel electric locomotive with, a 1Co-Co1 wheel arrangement. The Class 40’s were built between 1958 and 1962 by English Electric at their Vulcan Foundry Works and by Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns.The final locomotives ended regular service in 1985.
