The LNER Class J11 is a type of 0-6-0 steam engine originally designed by John G. Robinson for the Great Central Railway (GCR) in 1901, where they were classified as Class 9J. Known for their role in freight work and nicknamed “Pom-Poms”. These 174 engines were primarily used for heavy freight but also saw use in passenger service, with all examples scrapped by 1962.

Sadly, none of the Great Central Railways (GCR) Class J11 nicknamed “POm-POms” were saved for preservation.
