A brand new 00 gauge example especially developed by “Hornby Model Railways” as part of their recent series. This Class 8f 2-8-0 locomotive 48154 is being offered in BR Black. The locomotive is complete in every respect and is offered with sealed accessories pack and paperwork.

The London Midland and Scottish Railway’s 8F class 2-8-0 heavy freight locomotive is a class of steam locomotive designed for hauling heavy freight. An essential class in Stanier’s Locomotive Policy for the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS), the 8F would later become the standard freight engine during War World 2 (WW2).

Today there are a total of 15 surviving Class 8F locomotives which are preserved by various societies up and down the country!
