A much sort after 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific “Sidmouth” running number 34010 in BR Lined Green Livery! This locomotive was introduced by Wrenn between 1989-92 model reference W2291. An alternative model was produced between 1990/92 with later lining.

This display model is one of the first to be produced and is complete in every respect and includes original box and packaging. Also included is the instruction manual and usual holding rings and tissue! The underneath is clearly stamped P2/91048 dating this locomotive to Oct 89.

Note: factory related paint imperfection found to rear of tender which does not detract from overall quality.

The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific’s or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid. Incorporating a number of new developments in British steam locomotive technology, they were among the first British designs to use welding in the construction process, and to use steel fireboxes.
