A much desired Wrenn 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific Locomotive. This example is the “Lamport & Holt Line” running number 35026 in British Rail Blue! This locomotive was introduced by Wrenn between 1982-85 model reference W2267 (cat. Error W3000). This version is one of only 850 made.
The locomotive is complete in every respect. Its in overall super condition with the added advantage of the name plates being located centrally to the Boiler. Also included is its original box and lid, the instruction manual and usual holding rings and tissue! The base date stamped Packer 1 – 00230 referring to 1982, date stamp in red.
The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific’s or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid. They were among the first British designs to use welding in the construction process, and steel fireboxes. This meant that components could be more easily constructed under wartime austerity & post-war economy!

I have purchased several over time and each one is as good as the rest!
Again very happy with my purchase from Bruno. Ran perfectly & hauls 8 coaches round my layout with ease.
