An exceptional seldom found example of this much sort after 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific Locomotive named Canadian Pacific. This version in SR Green livery with running number 21C5 was in production for only three years, from 1989 until mid 1992. During this period only 60 were reported to have been made!!
The locomotive comes in original condition, complete in every respect and includes original box, packaging, manual and usual holding rings and tissue! The underneath date stamped P2/90626, build date June 1990!
The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific’s or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid. They were among the first British designs using welding in the construction process, and steel fireboxes. Meaning components could be more easily constructed in wartime austerity / post-war economy!
TO RETAIN ITS VALUE AS A COLLECTORS PIECE, WE BELIEVE PARAMOUNT, THE ENGINE IS OFFERED AS FOUND!
