Offering a fine PRESERVED example of a Wrenn W2293 Royal Scot Class Locomotive in LMS Black named “Caledonian” running number 6141. Initially advertised by Wrenn during what was commonly referred to as period three.
This example started production from 1989 and continued until the factory’s closure in 1992. Reported to be no more than 76 in total made and without exception getting harder to find! The locomotive is complete in every respect.
Its condition is second to none. This example includes original Wrenn Basildon box. Also included is the usual Wrenn manual, holding rings and tissue! The underneath of the inner box is also stamped in black P2/89936!
The Royal Scot was part of the London Midland & Scottish Railway Company (LMS) Royal Scot Class is a class is a 4-6-0 express passenger locomotive introduced in 1927. Originally having parallel boilers, all members were later rebuilt with tapered type 2A boilers, and were in effect two classes.
