A very rare find, an old shop stock limited edition 4-6-2 Rebuilt Bulleid Pacific Locomotive. This Sir Eustace Missenden engine is one of a number of stored locomotives on offer for the very 1st time. This locomotive was introduced by Wrenn between 1987-88 model reference W2402.

The locomotive is complete in every respect and includes original box and packaging, instruction manual and usual holding rings and tissue! Also included is the locomotive limited edition certificate number together with plinth, track and nameplate.

The SR Merchant Navy class (originally known as the 21C1 class, and later informally known as Bulleid Pacific’s, Spam Cans or Packets), is a class of air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway of the United Kingdom by Oliver Bulleid.

Incorporating a number of new developments in British steam locomotive technology, the design of the Merchant Navy class was among the first to use welding in the construction process.

TO RETAIN ITS VALUE AS A COLLECTORS PIECE, WE BELIEVE PARAMOUNT, THE ENGINE IS OFFERED AS FOUND!
