A brand new 00 gauge example especially developed by “Bachmann Model Railways” as part of their latest DCC ready series. This engine is the Rail Express Systems Class 90 Penny Black 90 019 model: 32-614.

The British Rail Class 90 is a type of electric locomotive. They were built for mixed-traffic duties, operating from 25 kV AC overhead lines and producing 5,000 bhp (3,700 kW). They weigh 84.5 tonnes and can typically achieve a top speed of 110 mph (177 km/h).

The British Rail Class 90 electric locomotives were built by British Rail Engineering Limited at Crewe Works in 1987-1990.All known engines had nicknames Class 90s were called ‘Skodas’ because they liked to burn down.
