Offering our own 00 gauge ex-demonstration model Class 40 especially developed by Bachmann Branch-line as part of their DCC series. This engine has been professionally DCC fitted and run in for immediate use. The locomotive includes, unopened accessory pack and paperwork.
The British Railways Class 40 (English Electric), is an eight axle diesel electric locomotive with, a 1Co-Co1 wheel arrangement. The Class 40’s were built between 1958 and 1962 by English Electric at their Vulcan Foundry Works and by Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns. The final locomotives ended regular service in 1985.
