A seldom found example of this much sort after 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific Locomotive named "Yeovil". This version in BR Blue livery with running number 34004 was produced for six years. Production commenced in 1983 and continued until mid 1989. During this period only 230 were reported to have been made!!

The locomotive has been fully serviced and comes in original condition, complete in every respect and includes original box, packaging, manual and usual holding rings and tissue! The underneath is clearly stamped as follows PACKER NUMBER 3 PRODUCTION DATE CODE 60939!

Note: we have down graded this locomotive due to the fact that there is the slightest of imperfection to the tender edge on one side. All said does not detract from the overall quality

The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific's or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid. They were among the first British designs to use welding in the construction process, and steel fireboxes. This meant that components could be more easily constructed under wartime austerity and post-war economy!
