Offering for sale a superb example of a Wrenn “Carr & Co Swindon” 4 Wheeled 6T Mica B Van model reference number W5027. This model was introduced by Wrenn in 1973 and production continued for a period of seventeen years until 1990.
The Van is finished in light green colour with Carr & Co logo, running number is W59850,. The tooling for this model was subsequently bought by Mordvale in 2001.This item is complete with original box, inner yellow sleeve and packaging.
The 6T Mica B Vans are used for transporting chilled meat of various kinds. The majority were privately owned and were distinguishable as there were painted in company colours and logo’s i.e. Birds Eye, Young’s Eskimo ETC. Very seldom were Tank Wagons owned by the Railway Companies.
