Offering as part of a one owner collection a 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific Locomotive named “Hurricane” in BR Green livery running number 34065. This superb example commenced production in 1984 and continued until 1990.

Another example with later lining was made from 1990 until the factory closure in 1992. This example which is only one of reported 300 ever made. What makes this locomotive special is the condition which is hard to find due to the limited production run by Wrenn.

The locomotive has been fully serviced and comes complete with original box which includes, packaging, manual and usual holding rings and tissue! Underneath clearly stamped in black P3 / 07938 denoting build date July 1989.

The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific’s or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid. They were amongst the first British designs to use welding in the construction process, and steel fireboxes. This meant that components could be more easily constructed under wartime austerity and post-war economy!

NOTE: TO PRESERVE ITS VALUE AS A DISPLAY MODEL IN OUR OPINION PARAMOUNT, THIS ENGINE IF REQUIRED WILL BE SERVICED F.O.C SHOULD THE BUYER WISH TO RUN!
