Nothing but a STUNNING example of the BR RED livery Duchess Class with alternative etched name plates “Leeds City & King George VI” locomotive! This locomotive was introduced by Wrenn for a short period between 1991-1992 model reference W2304.
This particular example with running number 46244 is of only 166 reported to having been made during the production run of TWELVE MONTHS The locomotive is complete in every respect and includes its original box, original packaging. Also included original Wrenn manual and usual holding rings and tissue!
We are of the opinion that this example was only ever been test run when bought and displayed since new showing NO wear to either components or decals! The box lid and inner box are consistent with a build / production date underneath date stamped P2/911154
