A super 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific Locomotive named “Biggin Hill”. A much sort after locomotive which was produced in BR Green livery running number 34057. This display example commenced production in 1990 and continued until the factory closure in 1992.
This example was kept by the former owner in a cabinet and is only one of 171 ever made. We would deem this locomotive to be a VERY RARE FIND INDEED! This example remains TEST RUN ONLY. Comes complete with its original box packaging, usual holding rings, manual, limited edition certificate, plinth and track!
The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific’s or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid.
TO RETAIN ITS VALUE AS A TEST RUN DISPLAY MODEL THIS ENGINE HAS NOT BEEN SERVICED. SHOULD THE BUYER WISH TO RUN WE WILL SERVICE F.O.C BEFORE DISPATCH
