Offering a fine display model of a Wrenn W2262 Royal Scot Class Locomotive in BR Green named “Grenadier Guardsman” running number 46110. Many of the Royal Scott locomotives produced by Wrenn were made in limited numbers. The standard Grenadier Guardsman commenced production in 1981 through to 1987 and was fitted with a three pole motor.
This locomotive is complete in every respect and remains as produced having spent its life primarily as a display model. It includes its P4 Wrenn Basildon original box. Also included is the Wrenn manual and usual holding rings and tissue! Underneath inner box stamped Packer 3 – 06731. Denoting a build date July 1986.
The Royal Scot was part of the London Midland & Scottish Railway Company (LMS) Royal Scot Class is a class is a 4-6-0 express passenger locomotive introduced in 1927. Originally having parallel boilers, all members were later rebuilt with tapered type 2A boilers, and were in effect two classes.

Bought this model at “Ally Pally” this year & had, had my eye on it for some time. Yet again was not disappointed. Correct box, complete with instructions & again ran superbly first time. I really can not get enough Wrenn, top quality.
