A fantastic example Wrenn, model reference W2230NP (Non Powered) BO BO Diesel Electric Locomotive. This variation in BR GREEN running no. D8017, is the alternative to the Blue version along with the non motorised! This locomotive was made with a MK1 chassis and has always been a favourite amongst collectors and layouts across the country. This locomotive was introduced in 1980 with production finishing in 1987 Period Four not long before the factory closure at Basildon!
The exact numbers made are disputed, including the build dates. In all my years of collecting I have only see a handful in such great condition. This locomotive, is complete in every respect and includes original box, packaging, manual and usual holding rings and tissue. Stamped Packer no.6 in red to the underneath inner box.
