A fantastic example Wrenn, model reference W2230 BO BO Diesel Electric Locomotive. This BR Blue Class 20 with running no. D8015, has been motorised. We are of the belief this was a factory error and NOT altered in later life! This locomotive was made with a MK1 chassis and has always been a favourite amongst collectors and layouts across the country. This locomotive was introduced in 1980 with production finishing in 1988 Period Four.
The exact numbers made are reported to be of the NON motorised version was 415. So in essence this example is very rare indeed.
