Offering a quality display model Wrenn, W2212/A “Sir Nigel Gresley” A4 Class Pacific. This engine in LNER Garter Blue, is the less common produced by Wrenn with running number 4498. This locomotive was made with a MK1 chassis. Production commenced in 1979, finishing in 1989. During the production run 1382 were made, of which only 68 were issued in period four.
In all my years of collecting I have NOT seen many in such fine condition. The locomotive has been fully serviced and is fully functional. It is complete in every respect and includes an original Wrenn P6 box, packaging, manual and usual holding rings and tissue!
The LNER’s Express Pacific designs were probably the most famous of the LNER locomotives. Of these Pacific’s, the A4 is probably the most famous of all: Its distinctive streamlined shape has come to be a symbol of 1930s luxury and speed. Even today, it is an A4 which holds the world speed record for any steam locomotive in the world.
John Webster –
This is as good as any I have bought.

Perfect
Arrived very quickly, slightly tight but I imagine the lack of running that is to be expected.
Some oil and a steady run with a few coaches…..he will be fine
