A brand new 00 gauge example especially developed by “Bachmann Branchline Model Railways” as part of their DCC ready series. This Class 40 Diesel locomotive running number D369 is being offered in BR Green Small Yellow Panel model reference 32-481.

The locomotive is complete in every respect and comes with all usual refinements to include, service sheet and complete sealed accessory packs.

The British Railways Class 40 (English Electric), is an eight axle diesel electric locomotive with, a 1Co-Co1 wheel arrangement. The Class 40’s were built between 1958 and 1962 by English Electric at their Vulcan Foundry Works and by Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns.The final locomotives ended regular service in 1985.
