Offering an ex-shop stock test run for avoidance of doubt L & YR 2-4-2 OO gauge Tank Locomotive especially developed by “Bachmann Branchline” as part of their recent DCC ready series. This BR Black EARLY crest tank has a running no 50636 and is model reference 31-166!

This locomotive is complete in every respect and includes all usual packaging and accessories where appropriate!

The locomotive history of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway grew out of two independent traditions; The Manchester & Leeds Railway and its acquisitions (becoming the LYR in 1847), which had its locomotive works at Miles Platting in Manchester, and the East Lancashire Railway which did not become part of the LYR until 1859 when it changed its name. 

The steam tank locomotive, Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, 2-4-2T was designed by John Aspinall, built at Horwich in 1889, withdrawn in 1954. 55 tons 19 cwt: weight kg
