Hornby Early BR Green Clan Class 4-6-2 Clan MacDonald 72004 model R3995

Offering a new old stock 00 gauge locomotive especially developed by Hornby Model Railways as part of their latest series. This engine is the BR Green Clan Class 4-6-2 Clan MacDonald 72004 model R3995.

This engine is complete in every respect which includes factory packaging, instructions, service sheet all accessory packs including outer picture card.

The British Railways Standard Class 6, nicknamed the “Clan Class” was a 4-6-2 Pacific type steam locomotive designed by Robert Riddles for mixed traffic work. Ten of these locomotives were built, numbered 72000-72009, and they were allocated to the Scottish Region. The design was based on the Britannia Class, but with a smaller boiler and other weight-saving measures to increase route availability for the Scottish Region.
