A much desired 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific Locomotive. This range of locomotive models were introduced in 1982 Period Four. This example is the “Sir Winston Churchill” running number 34051 in British Rail Green Livery was discontinued in 1990.

Wrenn Railways introduced another version with later lining in 1990- until the closure of the factory in 1992! This earlier locomotive model reference W2265 is a prime example of a stored seldom used model.

The locomotive is complete in every respect. Its condition is second to none and includes original box in as new condition and packaging. Also included is the instruction manual and usual holding rings and tissue! The inner box is stamped in black with production code packer no.3 00234. The production of this locomotive can be dated to March 1984.

The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific's or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid.
