A fine example of this much sort after 4-6-2 Streamlined Bulleid Pacific Locomotive named "Hurricane" in BR Green livery running number 34065. This superb example commenced production in 1984 and continued until 1990. Another example with later lining was made from 1990 until the factory closure in 1992.

This example which is only one of reported 300 ever made. What makes this locomotive special is the condition which is hard to find due to the limited production run by Wrenn. The locomotive has been fully serviced and comes in a period six G & R Wrenn outer box, original inner box which has been date stamped Packer no.3 71251 (build date December 1987) and includes, packaging, manual and usual holding rings and tissue!

The SR West Country and Battle of Britain classes, collectively known as Light Pacific's or informally as Spam Cans, are air-smoothed 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotives designed for the Southern Railway by its Chief Mechanical Engineer Oliver Bulleid. They were amongst the first British designs to use welding in the construction process, and steel fireboxes. This meant that components could be more easily constructed under wartime austerity and post-war economy!
